OxyPink is a highly innovative Zirconia probe, the only one able to measure residual O2 concentration in flue gas in the whole range of temperature from 0°C to 1250°C thanks to a simple but very advanced integral heating system, managed by the external electronics.

 

Able to withstand the most severe and dusty process conditions, this resilient in situ analyser, completely ceramic-made, has been specifically designed for cremators and incinerators, but it the ideal solution for all combustion processes where the probe must be always in line, whichever is the flue gas temperature.

Measuring Principle

The measuring principle on which the analysis is based is linked to the use of Zirconium Oxide which, at high temperatures, can behave like a solid state electrolyte, developing an electromotive force (E.M.F.) on two electrodes placed in contact with different O2 concentrations (partial pressures), proportional to the temperature in Kelvin degrees (°K) and to the logarithm of the ratio between the two pressures PO2’ and PO2” in accordance with Nernst’s well-known ratio:
